Company Overview: Our client is a market leader that designs, manufacture and sells advanced VoIP and data networking products as well as cutting edge applications. The company currently serves a large group of elite service providers and enterprise accounts.
Position Overview: Regional Sales, selling equipment to enterprise accounts, service providers thru the channel partner organization.
Responsibilities:
Work hand in hand with the channel manger in jointly developing your sales pipeline in the IP reseller base within your region. Drive business thru the channels by calling on enterprise accounts and service providers. Build strong long-term relationships with vendors, marketing partners and accounts to exceed regional quotas. Coordinate technical training on products and services for clients and team members. Communicate with corporate on product requirements and training needs. Own the entire sales cycle from prospecting, to presentations, to quotes, contracts, closing and training to make or exceed monthly quota.
Required Skills and Experience:
• Five plus years of a successful track record in enterprise and or service provider sales of VoIP products and services in a regional assignment.
• Technically strong in the area of VoIP hardware and applications and the telephony market.
• Prior experience moving sales thru a channel organization. Strong people management skills to lead cross-functional projects
• Technically proficient and the ability to synthesize complex and/or diverse information in an analytical manner
• Team player with excellent communication and customer service skills, positive attitude and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Location: Northern CA
Education: BA/BS degree required, MBA preferred
Travel: Regional
Compensation: Base salary $100K - $120K, depending on prior earnings and experience. Total compensation $200-$240k, plus benefits.
