Job Description:

The Major Account Manager is responsible for the identification and attainment of business within the U.S. Army for Radio Communications Products/Systems. In performance of these duties the Account Manger responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Analysis of existing and anticipated customer requirements and promotes consideration of company products and services to fill such requirements.


• Participation in the preparation of sales plans, business plans, and product development plans


• Prepares and conducts sales presentations


• Manage sales proposal budgets and orders forecast


• Ability to lead cross functional team in pursuit of major business opportunities


• Maintains technical proficiency and consults with prospective customers regarding use of company products and services


• Quotes prices and delivery date and demonstrates and provides instruction on the use of products


• Keeps informed of new products and other information of interest to customers


• Investigates new applications or improvements to products


• Provides marketing intelligence to sales management and may participate in the development of sales forecasts and strategies.

Qualifications:         

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or engineering required.


• 10 years sales experience


• 5 years of directly related JTRS or Army Communications experience


• Willing and able to travel approximately 30%


• Ability to obtain Secret Security Clearance

• MBA Preferred
