Background:
My client is a division of a large international Financial Services Corporation. This division sets themselves apart in the retirement plan business by paying attention to details, being innovative and having total dedication to their clients.
They are redefining what comprehensive retirement advice and service is; by utilizing their strong DC & DB division and internal Institutional Marketing group to connect clients and prospects to the Answer Center (via direct marketing to consumers through Website strategies)... this has created rapid growth.
Consequently, we are looking for a strong sales leader with a solid track record creating and building effective sales teams providing clients with comprehensive advice on retirement issues and the marketing of financial products and insurance.
Purpose:
The centralized answer center sales & service hub will provide clients with comprehensive advice on retirement issues and will market financial products. Both sales & services will be primarily delivered by certified Financial Advisors via VRU, Web interface, direct service line, and Email.
This leadership position owns the client experience and satisfaction – defining delivery, setting strategic direction, and operational results. This ownership includes managing the delivery of sales and growth of assets under management.
Responsibilities:
> Recruiting, hiring and retaining the sales team. Ensuring development and implementation of personnel and organizational structure that provides for rapid growth and scalability.
> Identify and implement on-going process improvement initiatives to deliver efficient sales and service, drive productivity increases by improving sales to close ratios, cross sale opportunities and speed of answer.
> Accountable for production readiness functions and the management of daily performance.
> Responsible for managing and driving performance on all key performance indicators (KPI), to meet and exceed all client and company expectations. Review and modification of key metrics to maximize performance also required.
> Ensure appropriate information is shared for making decisions, performing work and facilitation positive, proactive distributor relationship through effective communication both orally and in written form.
> Must maintain compliance with IMSA Code of Ethics; determine and document legal, compliance and regulatory requirements for this operational model, specifically as it relates to an RIA and Broker/Dealer environment.
Requirements:
> Bachelors’ degree or equivalent required, MBA preferred with 5-10 years of Management experience in financial services sales and/or operations
> Insurance and /or financial services experienced required
> 5+ years experience managing inbound/outbound call center, emphasis on growing sales.
> Strong understanding of retirement planning, financial advice, and rollover business.
> Solid experience using financial planning tools, writing plans and providing advice.
> Series 7, 24, 66, Life & Health, (have or be able to obtain)
> Designations, CFP, ChFC, CLU desirable
> Experience successfully starting a new business unit or department is a plus
