DescriptionKey Role:
Work with a multidisciplinary team of transportation specialists, supply chain, modelers, engineers, and planners leading Booz Allens work in freight transportation planning, assisting federal, state, and local clients with planning, managing, modeling, and technology development activities related to freight and its impacts on the transportation system and the environment. Lead and manage large contracts, build relationships, present at conferences, and serve as a freight planning industry leader. Identify, qualify, position for, and win consulting opportunities within the freight planning market. Support the expansion of freight planning and supply chain and logistics business through defining a market strategy to leverage Booz Allens capabilities in support of current and future contracts focused on freight, ITS transportation system impacts, economic development drivers, and environmental footprint reduction.QualificationsBasic Qualifications: -10+ years of experience with developing business within the freight planning market -5+ years of experience with performing business development activities at the federal level -5+ years of experience with business development -Experience with the TRB, National Cooperative Freight Research Program (NCFRP), and other freight stakeholder groups -BS degree required Integrating the full range of consulting capabilities, Booz Allen is the one firm that helps clients solve their toughest problems, working by their side to help them achieve their missions.
