Director of Federal Sales

This company is looking to hire a Director of Federal Sales, based in the Virginia, Maryland or Washington DC area.  They are the leader in real-time traffic intelligence for the protection and management of large IP networks.  They are the only software company that provides security, intercept and traffic management solutions within a single, flexible system.  With their products, service providers, governments and large enterprises around the world can immediately detect, analyze, mitigate and target any unwanted, unwarranted or malicious traffic.  Their solutions provide its customers with complete, real-time insight into all of their IP traffic from the network to the applications, enabling customers to take the most appropriate actions quickly.

They are looking to hire a Director of Federal Sales.  This position is based in Virginia, Maryland or Washington, DC.  Candidates for this position should have:

• Proven track record of selling and consulting with Federal Government channels, integrators, and/or resellers, such as Harris, Northrop, Raytheon, SAIC, etc. in their pursuit of system solutions 


• Current Top Secret clearance at minimum (Prefer TS/SCI with Polygraphs) 


• Previous experience successfully responding to RFIs, RFPs, RFQs to Federal Government customers and/or data service/hosting providers 


• Excellent communication skills and familiarity with computer tools, such as MS PowerPoint, Salesforce.com, Excel, MS Word. 


• Broad understanding of network topologies, equipment and protocol analysis is helpful 


• Packet capture/intercept experience is a plus 


• Strong security background with knowledge of Firewall, IDS, IPS, Virus, Internet worms, DDoS, and network exploits is desirable
