Job Description:
This individual will lead my client’s Performance Advertising Sales team in recruiting new clients into their advertising network. The Director of Inside Sales will be the focal point in generating and growing revenue for my client through performance advertising. S/he must be knowledgeable in managing a team of Inside Sales Rep’s and maximizing revenue through inventory and customer management. This individual will hire, train, coach and supervise the team of inside sales professionals.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
• Manage, grow, and lead inside sales team for my client’s advertising services
• Responsible for being able to clearly articulate the ongoing value proposition that my client represents in the advertising marketplace
• Manage team’s sales call activity and prospecting strategy
• Hit sales goals
• Drive revenue growth by enrolling and up-selling key advertisers
• Manage inventory and client optimization to maximize revenue and ROI for customers and my client
• Develop strategies for bringing traditional online performance advertisers over to mobile
• Responsible for developing an understanding of key business drivers and success metrics for products being marketed by customers on my client’s network.
Required Skills and Experience:
• Proven record of effective digital advertising sales
• 7+ years experience in media sales; min 2+ years of inside sales management experience
• Extensive knowledge of online advertising landscape highly preferred
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Strong business acumen and professionalism, excellent presentation skills with solid communication skills both verbal and written
• Excellent customer focus and attention to detail
