Director of National Accounts 3263

This outstanding name brand consumer food products company is expanding both domestically and internationally and the Director will be charged with developing national account sales and eventually a sales team, in expanding their sales efforts into current and new grocery, drug and mass accounts. This position is an integral part of the management team and it will be working out of their headquarters. You will be responsible for implementing the sales and marketing plans to achieve sales goals. You will partner with key accounts and buyers to develop merchandising, promotional opportunities and distribution solutions. As the Director you will be analyzing sales forecasts, category management, pricing, consumer trends and new product introductions including line extensions. They want 7-10 years of CPG sales experience dealing with national accounts in food, mass and drug categories, strong analytical skills and have successfully launched a new product or line extension.
