My client an established and cutting edge advertising media company is seeking to expand their sales team with Regional Sales Director(s) though-out the US (East, West, Midwest) for a new division in their media targeted display advertising and measurement group. As a key member of the sales team, this role demands a dynamic, results-oriented individual responsible for bringing in new business. This role will manage key clients through day-to-day contact, looking for opportunities to grow relationships and ensure that clients always receive superior customer service.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maximize revenue growth with top advertisers
  • Engage agency decision makers at all levels
  • Conduct detailed needs assessments
  • Plan, prepare and execute high impact meetings with prospects and clients
  • Develop a formal plan and aggressively prospect, evaluate and identify best opportunities
  • Identify and develop a strong understanding of clients core objectives and challenges
  • Utilize research in presentations and interactions with prospects and clients
  • Develop winning selling strategies and proposals
  • Accurately forecast revenue growth

 

SKILLS

  • Minimum 5 years progressive work experience
  • 4+ years experience calling on online advertising agencies
  • Strong understanding of industry trends, technologies and pricing models
  • Excellent understanding of agency dynamics and campaign buying and planning
  • Strong knowledge of ad campaign metrics and analysis
  • Superior skills in all facets of the sales cycle including prospecting, negotiating, and the ability to sell based on value not price
  • Understanding of audience profiles, online ad targeting, behavior data, and campaign optimization
  • Proven communication, presentation and sales skills with a knack for consultative selling
  • Related experience managing sales executives, and/or account teams.
  • Proven record of strategic development of Fortune 1000 client base
  • BA/BS required
