Account Manager – Enterprise Software Sales

To keep up with our projected 50% + industry-segment growth, we are building out our team of persistent and talented Account Managers.  In this role, you will market our solutions directly to a named account base of mid-high level IT, Security and Compliance managers.  You will aggressively build your pipeline from self- and marketing-generated leads and develop your prospects into referenceable clients.  This position is considered mid to senior-level and requires a comparable level of experience, business acumen and the ability to create a “trusted-partner” relationship with your customers.   As you will be the primary relationship manager, your face to face, phone and written communication and presentation skills must be poised and polished.

As an Account Manager, you will spend most of your day in person and on the phone marketing our portfolio of products to new and existing clients.  You will work from a named account list of select Fortune 1000, government and education accounts.  Your client base will include Information Technology, Security and corporate business managers up to C-level executives.  While you will manage all aspects of a complex consultative sales cycle, you are encouraged to draw on the expertise of and engage our technical specialists as needed.  You will make both technical and business case presentations for our portfolio of system and security management solutions. Specifically, you will: 



  • Prospect, qualify and present to potential customers on the phone and in-person



  • Effectively research and profile targeted accounts



  • Uncover business requirements and key decision makers



  • Manage and control the entire enterprise-software sales cycle



  • Develop and work a territory plan to build a pipeline to regularly overachieve your quota



  • Utilize and accurately manage contacts and opportunities in our CRM system


 


In addition to an entrepreneurial drive to succeed, you MUST have:


 



  • 2+ Years of SECURITY SOFTWARE or PRIVILEGED IDENTITY MANAGEMENT sales experience with a proven history of quota overachievement, territory growth and professional account management including:



  • Solid experience closing 6-figure deals with F1000 or high mid-market accounts



  • BA/BS in Business and/or Technology/Sciences, MBA preferred



  • Excellent in-person/phone presence and active listening skills



  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills



  • Organized, high-energy, outgoing, resilient and ambitious



  • Sound business judgment
