The Account Executive (AE) position is responsible for all aspects of executing the day-to-day relationship with the client/account. An AE’s responsibilities include the project management of all point of sale and communication items from creation to execution from the client’s perspective. The AE is the liasison between the client and Project Management staff. The AE must understand and reinforce the Integrated Merchandising Supply Chain (IMSC) with the client. The AE must continuously sell the value and be able to source new opportunities within existing clients. The position primarily consists of being an expert in the customers business and shaping their expectations directly related to the general business operation, and requires the consistent exercise of discretion and judgment.
II. EXPECTATIONS
1. Develops strong relationships with the customer. Ultilizes independent meetings, lunches and dinners to isolate the customer from day-to-day conversations and focus on value and growing the business.
2. Maintains customer satisfaction and shapes expectations with both internal departments and the client.
3. Demonstrates expertise in the IMSC and educates customers on TSG’s value and services.
4. Responsible for direction to the Project Managers and Designers from strategy through execution, including:
a. Job specification/art work coordination management
b. Proofing and production coordination authorization
c. Coordinating project logistics information
5. Demonstates expertise in the customer’s business, including:
a. Account’s organizational structure and contacts
b. Account’s strategy to market
c. Channels in which the customer competes
d. TSG value as the account evolves
e. Account’s competitors’ strategy to market
6. Submit two Internal Business Enhancing Process Changes per year
OTHER EXPECTATIONS
1. Follows through on all commitments in a timely manner.
2. Learns/applies account specific procedures and requirements.
3. Communicates workload issues as needed.
4. Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education/Experience:
· BS Degree in Communications/business or related field.
· 2-4 years of graphic arts education or experience preferred.
· Point of sale production/sales/merchandising background required.
